Destin Florida HotelI've stayed in a number of the different hotels in Destin over the years, and I can honestly say that my vacation was just as enjoyable as the times I stayed in one of the resorts. In reality, it doesn't matter where you stay. The beautiful Emerald Coast beaches, and all the other wonderful attractions that make Destin Florida a vacation paradise, are still going to be there for you to enjoy.
One Destin Florida hotel where you can enjoy all the amenities of a resort without paying the higher resort condo prices is the Sandestin Beach Hilton. 
The Hilton Sandestin Beach, Golf Resort & Spa is probably the nicest Destin beachfront hotel. I've stayed there a few times and it's on the top of my list of hotels in the Destin area. The Hilton is ideal for families, especially if your kids enjoy swimming. The Hilton has no less than three pools, two outdoor and one indoor. Another popular hotel in Destin is the The Embassy Suites Destin-Miramar Beach. 
It's not directly on the beach, but it is located right across the street from the beaches. It boasts itself as "The first all-suites hotel of its kind to grace the Emerald Coast" with each suite actually having two rooms.It's a great place to stay and the location, while not directly on the beach, is still conveniently close to the beach and other attractions.
