Fudpuckers Destin is one of the most popular restaurants for those visiting in Destin but not one of the favorites for many of the locals, or for those that have visited Destin often.

It's most easily described as one of those theme-filled tourist trap restaurants that has decent but overpriced food and seemingly an endless supply of souvenirs to purchase.

While it may offer some excitement and decent food for some families, others might not walk way having had the best dining experience. Fudpuckers is probably best suited for teenage groups in town looking for something to do and for adults without kids. Some might think Fudpuckers suitable for younger age children, but a lot of people wouldn't feel comfortable subjecting their kids to this environment.

It's not that the food is that bad, it's just that Fudpuckers doesn't offer the wonderfully authentic and excellent seafood that so many other restaurants in town offer.

Probably the most popular attraction at Fudpuckers for the kids is the alligator pit. You can feed them but you have to pay for the little gator treats as well.

There is also graffiti everywhere along the walls at Fudpuckers. You can write your name for posterity sake or leave a message for yourself should you ever decide to come back again.

If you decide to dine at Fudpuckers know ahead of time that while you may have an entertaining experience, you will most likely be missing out on a lot better dining experience at one of Destin's better restaurants.
